As I look back on all of the amazing things we've been so blessed to be a part of here at Ubuntu Goods in 2016, I am eternally grateful to all of our wonderful supporters and customers. You have helped make our dream a reality and we can't thank you enough for your support.
Personally, 2016 has been a year of connection for me. I have met so many wonderful new people and deepened relationships with friends and family which has brought me personal growth and immense joy. Lindsay feels so grateful to be a part of this journey and wants to thank everyone for supporting us and helping us do good in the world.
As we were sitting down to purchase Holiday cards to mail to all of you, we realized there are so many ways we could be using these funds to help others instead.
Lindsay and I have been looking for a way to help the people of Aleppo, Syria, especially the children. So, instead of buying personal and business holiday cards and mailing them to our customers, friends, and family; Lindsay and I have decided to donate the funds to Save the Children, a charity that is rated with 4 stars on Charitynavigator.org, that is on the ground in Syria, and is helping refugee communities throughout the region. They are providing Syrian children and their families with emergency care, shelters, protection, clean water and warm clothes.
