Meet the Artisan - A beautiful success story!

Here is a story that happened recently, from the CEO of Starfish Project- our partner in Asia.

"Today Yang, one of our women who is pregnant, came to me to ask if her mom can come and live at Starfish Project for a few months because she is getting beaten by her father and has no where else to go. Her mother left her yogurt business and her abusive husband in her hometown and came to our headquarters office, where she has been volunteering the last few days.

She will work here through February and then we will try to help her mother start their yogurt business in our headquarters city. When I told Yang that her mother could stay, she held on to me and cried. So now we are helping a whole family. These are the moments where I really love my job. I just wanted to tell you an uplifting story about the amazing things made possible by your purchases, donations, and continued support

Supporting this wonderful organization makes my heart happy and I wanted to share that feeling with you, so that we can share in the success we're creating together here at Ubuntu Goods. The impact we're making all over the world and here in the United States, blows me away. In 2016 you helped us give over $1,000 to US-based charities.
