Sharing My Heart ♥️

So, today in the drop-off line at my son's school, the crossing guard smiled at me and said "Have a great day!". Probably doesn't seem like a big deal but it was exactly what I needed at exactly the right moment. This morning I woke up with a 101 degree fever, my 2 year-old took a tumble on the stairs, and my son forgot his backpack forcing us to turn around and almost be late. It was one of those ROUGH mornings. But for some reason that small gesture made me pick myself up off the steering wheel and completely turned my day around.

Now that the little ones are down for their naps, I decided to pass the kindness on and made a bracelet to surprise a friend with a little gift in the mail for her birthday. Creating lifts my spirit, especially when it is for someone else.
I'm currently reading The Crossroads of Should and Must by Elle Luna. It is a beautiful book that invites you to write in it and explore who you are and what you must do with your life. I really love how she tells her story and invites you to write your own along with her. Here is a page I just filled in. I'm sharing it with you today because I want to share my heart with you all. And the best way I am able to do that is with pen and paper.

So I hope you are having a great week... And smile at someone today, you never know what kind of ripple it could create!
